Tribute to Franco to be held in a Spanish government building

The National Foundation Francisco Franco (FNFF)  intends to organize a special tribute to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the dictatorship. The event will take place on the 2nd of December at  the Congress Palace in Madrid.

This property is owned by the Spanish Ministry of Industry which has given permission for the act of FNFF memorial. The event has been named: "120 years later, Francisco Franco is still with us".

Some opposition members have claimed to the Spanish government to ban this event in a public building since this would be consideres an attack against the country's democratic memory. The event is seen as an act of praise of the Spanish dictatorship.
