They should be judged in Catalonia by law but in Spain law is only a word. Cramped transport cells 9 of Catalan Twelve prisoners were driven for 8 hours to prisons in Spain to be tried for organizing a referendum.
Excuse me for replying in English, But in 2017 I visited the former STASI prison in Berlin and, apart from the size of the vehicle, this looks exactly like the way prisoners were transported. The objective was to confuse and disorientate the prisoner to help break them, by giving no indication of where they were going. Very often, they would be driven around for several hours, only to return to a different block of the original prison.
