Both Catalans and Chinese formed a human chain on the Great Wall last Saturday to raise awareness of their claims for the Independence of Catalonia. 86 other cities around the world will host human chains, before a 400 km human chain is formed in Catalonia on the 11th of September.
Families with children, groups of friends and people of all ages gathered for the peaceful protest at the Chinese monument, with spectacular views of the Great Wall, to show their support for independence in their countries.
