Flash news on Catalonia's Independence Process

** The president of the publishing grup Planeta, JOSE MANUEL LARA has declared to the magazine VANITY FAIR that he doesn´t believe in the power of independence of the Catalans because –according to him-  the number of people who feel exclusively Catalan does not exceed 15 percent –or at most 25 percent. LARA failes to quote the sociological studies and public opinion polls that show that NEARLY 80 PERCENT of Catalan citizens demand a referendum.

** The Secretary-General of the PP in Valencia SERAFIN CASTELLANO equated the Catalan independence flag with the fascist symbols.

** The Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, an advisory body of parliament and government of Germany raises the possibility of an independent Catalonia and claims that "the key to a constructive solution of the problem is Madrid." 

** The employer NICOLAS COSTOVICI said to the newspaper ABC of Madrid  that he
discards the installation of a plant of medical instruments´ production in Catalonia due to "political uncertainty" generated by the process sovereignty. In the interview COSTOVICI omits any connection with civic harmony of Catalan Unionists platform in favor of spanish language as dominant.
