General secretary of the Catalonia's union CGT detained
An arrest warrant had been issued for the general
secretary of the anarcho-syndicalist union CGT (General Confederation of Labor) in Catalonia, university
professor Ermengol Gassiot (1972), for having supported a student occupation
for free education in 2013. 27 people are on trial for those events and
Gassiol has refused to turn up in court. He has been arrested by police under Spanish command moments ago.
