Catalan Parliament Speaker proposes Jordi Sànchez as candidate for President; investiture debate will be on March 12th

The speaker of the Catalan Parliament, Roger Torrent, has officially proposed Junts per Catalunya (JxCAT, Together for Catalonia) deputy Jordi Sànchez as candidate to the presidency after Carles Puigdemont "provisionally" stood aside. The Parliament shared the official notification, signed by Torrent, this evening. The date for the investiture debate will be on March 12th at 10 AM. Together for Catalonia will demand the Spanish judge for Prevarication if he does not let Jordi Sanchez, an MP, in jail without being judged yet, to be in the Parliament
