One of the 37 protesters injured on Friday as a result of police charges before the Spanish government delegation partially lost sight of the right eye, BTV reported. The demonstration met with a police cordon upon arriving at the Spanish government's delegation at dusk, when the tension between protesters and the Mossos d'Esquadra exploded and the police charged.
The wounded balance was settled with 33 of slight character and two of less serious. Other people were wounded in Tarragona. The majority of those attended were bruised and 15 of those affected were transferred to medical centers, among them the young person with an ocular wound, who was treated at the Hospital de Sant Pau. The source does not rule out that the partial loss of vision of the right eye could be permanent.
Peopla rallied against the jailing of 5 Catalan MPs by the Spanish Courts. One of them, Jordi Turull, is candidate to President of Catalonia and another one the former Speaker of the Parliament.
