A MP of the Galician Nationalist Block (BNG) tears a picture of the "king" to demand the end of the persecution of freedom of expression

A MP of the Galician Nationalist Block (BNG) yesterday teared a picture of Philippe Bourbon in the Parliament to demand the end of the persecution of freedom of expression. He has been recalled the ruling of March 14th of the European Court of Human Rights that recognized the burning of photographs of Bourbon as freedom of expression and forced Spain to compensate the two Catalans condemned for that. Luís Bará said "this is the ABC of democracy, and I do not burn it because we are in a closed area." Bará has denounced the so-called "gag law" imposed by the neofrancoist government of the PP (party founded by a Franco's minister) as a direct attack on democracy and free expression.
