Support for independence grows 8 points and pro independence parties would win a bigger absolute majority

Support for independence in Catalonia ever since Madrid temporarily revoked the region's powers of self-rule, grows from 40 to 48 % in two months.

Together for Catalonia (JxCat) would again be top of the pro independence parties, with 30 to 32 seats, with ERC (Catalonia's Republican Left) gaining between 29 and 32 seats, and the CUP (Candidacy for Popular Union)party up from four to 11 seats wining 9 while JxCat could lose 2 and ERC 2 more. So the indepencence front could achieve 75 MPs five up of last December elections.

CUP would been 11 MPs (7 up) same as Catalunya En Comú-Podem a left parti nor unionist nor independetist. Meanwhile, the Spanish nationalist left PSOE would get between 13 and 15 seats, losing 2-4 seats with the Catalan branch of Spain’s ruling PP ( party founded by a Franco Minister) party likely to win between three and four seats. Now the PP has 4 over 135. Citizens, lead by a Franco policeman daughter, would lose 2-3 seats.

The poll results come from a survey of 1,500 people in Catalonia, with a margin of error of +2.53%, which was carried out between April 7 and 27.
