Catalan Elected MEPs barred from entering the European Parliament by Klaus Welle

Carles Puigdemont and Toni Comín were elected by more than one milion voters on Sunday. They have been blocked at the European Parliament entrance by illegal orders today. The decision came from General Secretary of the European Parliament, Klaus Welle (CDU), barred them from entering the EU parliament. Both were elected as Together for Catalonia (JxCat) list after a failed attempt of the Spanish electoral board to prevent them to be candidates. The European Parliament is the house of demcoracy where elected people represent legitimac, by thwarting the legal and normal entrance of elected MEPs it is denying its own legitimacy and insulting one million people who voted for them.
