Two Catalans condemned to jail for a protest the day that Carles Puigdemont was arrested

A Spanish court yesterday condemned by public disorder two activists from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat that on March 28, 2018 participated in the demonstrations of Barcelona against the arrest of Carles Puigdemont in Germany. The court considersthat Lluís Mollón and Laia Roca blocked the passage of the Mossos d'Esquadra during protests in the streets near the Spanish Government's delegation, and condemned them to one-year prison sentences - for her - and one year and a half - for him. In the trial Mollón was also tried for an attack on the authority, but the court ruled out condemning him for this crime because he believes that there was no intention to act against police officers.
