Ramon Tremosa explained to all European MPs that Catalonia has already set up the date and the question for its referendum. He has sent everybody an email with all the relevant information.

Dear colleagues,

Artur Mas, President of Catalonia, has reached an agreement with 5 Catalan political parties representing 2/3 of Catalan Parliament (christian-democrats, liberals, centre-left, greens and extreme-left) in order to organize a referendum on independence next November 9th 2014.

The question will have 2 parts:



1. Do you want Catalonia to become a State?

1. In case the answer is affirmative, should this Catalan State be independent?
