Eleven Galician youth identified by the Spanish police in a protest for their language
An
action by Galiza Nova (New Galicia) that consisted of protesting in the General
Secretary of Language Policy of the galcian Government found the repression of the
Spanish police. Galiza Nova wanted to protest
against the refusal of the autonomous government, in the hands of the
Spanish nationalist party PP, to be an active and positive agent in the
normalization of the language. Spanish police
officers have identified eleven nationalist militants, including the
deputy of the BNG (Galician Nationalist Bloc) Noa Preses. Galician language is losing speakers because a misuse of the PP government and the imposition of Spanish language.
