Spain confiscates 220,000 € from Catalan civil grassroots organisations

Spanish tax office yesterday seized €110,000 each from Catalan civil organisations Òmnium Cultural and the Catalan National Assembly in payment of fine imposed by Spanish Agency of Data Protection. This is the first fine of this kinf. As fines are under appeal, the seizure is illegal. Spanish goverment rides roughshod over the law. The answer to this theft has been the campaign 'No ens faran callar' (They will not silence us).
