The Walk for the Republic convoked by the Plataforma per la Democràcia i la Llibertat Cambrils, Salou i Vila-seca, (Freedom & Democracy Platform from Cambrils, Salou and Vila-Seca) was a huge success yesterday. In spite of the local council will to stop the rally a crowd marched through the touristic village under the slogans 'Welcome to the Catalan Republic' and 'Freedom for All Political Prisoners and Exiles' mainly in English in a village full of tourists in the summer season.
