Foreign minister Borrell was yesterday fined €30,000 by Spain's
National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) for the sale of these
shares. If the so called kingdom of Spain is the healthy democracy that Borrell claims it to be,
surely he'll resign immediately. The CNMV says that he has committed "a very serious offence" by carrying
out this operation as a company board member with access to sensitive
information. Borrell has decided not to appeal. Pedro Sánchez must
consider Borrell's fitness for public office. In Spain no need to resign as it is not a democracy.
