Spanish Foreign Minister Josep Borrell said at a conference in a Spanish university that United States' pre-independence history was nothing: ""They have little history behind, the only thing that they had done was kill 4 Indians". Sadly figures of speech are a proof of firmly rooted racism, ignorance over the genocide of 12 million indigenous people' due to starvation, disease, extreme poverty, war and murder". Borrell is a wel known Spanish supremacists who said that Catalonia should be "disinfected" and mocked by Catalan political prisoners.
Last week the leader of the biggest party in Spain, Popular Party, founded by seven Franco's Ministers, also said that "We did not colonize Central and South America, we were making Spain greater (...) the conquistadores did not kill people there, they just gave them Spanish last names".
