Montblanc's Mayor joins hunger strike of Catalan Political Prisoners

The Mayor of Montblanc (Catalonia), Josep Andreu, goes on hunger strike in solidarity with the jailed Catalan hunger strikers. He announced today his decision. Andreu, who called recently for unity through the National Call for the Republic, lead by Carles Puigdemont is a veteran militant of the Republican Catalonia Left. Montblanc is a southern Catalan city member of the Association of Municipalities for Independence (AMI). Nowadays it has the support of 786 town councils out of the 948 total in Catalonia (82,9%).
