Eva Poptcheva is an Spanish advisor for the General Secretariat of the European Parliament,. She has broken neutrality several times by manipulating information about Catalan MEPs Carles Puigdemont as well as Toni Comín. The current EU Parliament legislation obliges its advisors to remain neutral. In fact there is a disciplinary code from 2008 and set code of conduct which she is supposed to comply with. She lied about boths MEPs who took up their seats yesterday. It is not the first time that Poptcheva breaks the neutrality. In February she attacked the Spanish Socialists as well and said that Ciudadanos, a Spanish far right party had tha right way to solve European questions. there are many other examples down. After being denounced she has deleted her account. A nice example of accountability, Spanish style.
