Torches Marches fill up Catalonia for Prisoners and Exiles

The social movement Rescat (Rescue) organized for 18th year marches with torches in Catalonia for Christmas. Dozens of events were held over Catalonia. Trirty five marches wre massively followed. adaqués, Ripoll, Sils, Vilanova i la Geltrú, Vilafranca del Penedès, Calafell, Mollet del Vallès, Granollers, Cardedeu, Esparreguera, Tarragona, Esplugues de Llobregat, Molins de Rei, Terrassa, Sabadell, Cervera, Lleida, Girona, Cerdanyola, Vic, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Palafrugell, la Bisbal d’Empordà, la Seu d’Urgell, Artesa de Segre, Reus, Mataró, Capellades, Montblanc, Castelló d’Empúries and many others were the cities and villages where marchers denounced the Spanish repression over Catalan people, both jailed or jailed. Today another march will be held in Barcelona. The marches also called for freedom of Basque political prisoners. In fact one of the rallies was held in Bermao, Basque Country.
