Help Catalonia on tour

Over the next few days, Help Catalonia will be participating in several public events—a testimony to its growth as a social point of reference both within and outside of Catalonia.
The first events will be held in Igualada and Vacarisses. On Saturday 22th March at 5:30pm in Igualada's main square, economist Àlex Furest will explain Catalonia’s international positioning and its pro-independence movement at an event inspired by London's Speakers’ Corner. At 7pm, Help Catalonia volunteer Jordi Vàzquez will participate in a debate titled “How the world sees the Catalan process.” This debate is to be held at the Casal de Vacarisses. Both events are organised by local chapters of the Assamblea Nacional de Catalunya.

On 3rd April, Help Catalonia volunteer and spokesperson Anna Aroca will take part in a round table discussion entitled “Volunteer and collaborative translation projects” organised by the Col·legi dels Docents i els Professionals de la Cultura. One of the main ideas to be discussed is how activism and voluntarism in translation can help ideas to be spread globally and effectively. The event will be held at  6:30pm at the Sala Ramon Fuster of the Col·legi de Doctors i Llicenciats (Rambla de Catalunya, 8 – Barcelona).
On the following day, Ms Aroca will participate in the II Congress on Political Communication of Catalonia as its representative in a debate entitled “Internationalisation and Communication”. The event will have distinguished representatives and guests and can be followed on Twitter with the hashtag #CCPC2
